Would you buy your wedding dress from ebay
I have heard of many horror stories from different brides who ordered from either ebay or China and the dress was nothing like the image being chiffon dress wedding advertised, the material was not the material its suppose to be and if it was it was of poor quality and had flaws in it, also things like the detailing and stitching were extremely poor or the sizing was in-correct and it was either too small or too big.
Yes you may think you are getting a fantastic bargain but you could be paying out more for something you may need to replace or have fixed by a seamstress if it is a total disaster when it arrives, Do you really want to compromise what it suppose to be the dress you have probably been dreaming of since you was a little girl?
You also may want to take into consideration that by buying online you are not able to try on the dress that you are buying, you may think you know what style you want but believe me it doesn necessarily mean it will be dress. I searched for 6months for my wedding dress, I tried on so many and I went for a style completely different to what I had imagined myself in.
Also have you taken into account the shipping costs, the site says that it costs £72 for shipping and £8 Insurance so that automatically an additional £80 and then you will need to pay the VAT of 17.5% (20% from 1st January 2011) on top of that for it being imported from China into the UK and an additional handling fee. All those costs add up!
Ultimately its up to you what you do but I would look into it further if you do go ahead with placing a bid.
I would definitely buy it. It so cheap that if you got it and then tried it on and it didn fit, it wouldn be a waste, and you could probably re-sell on e-bay! Also. you should open an e-bay store and copy that guy idea a gown line . It is a fabulous dress, but make sure it not too good to be true. Ask the seller some questions if necessary. If you can afford the low price to take chance on it, you will be able to tell if it looks cheap when it arrives. I am all for a budget wedding, lady!!! Save the money for something like a great honeymoon or down payment on a house! All the best! Good luck!
